I did measure up the Kercher disk/ 944NA caliper combo. Not good. The 944 pad is too large for the rotor. The 944 pad is about 51mm tall, while the barking surface on the kercher rotor is only 45mm. The 944 pad would overhang the rotor. it's not a good combination to put together.

As for the 944NA setup on a dropped spindle..it works with a LP spindle, but the BJ spindle requires alot of clearancing to make the caliper fit in the conventional position (under the steering arm). I'm going to retry the setup, and see if I can get the caliper to fit above the steering arm without too much spindle clearancing. I'll keep you guys posted. One side effect of the 'top' position will be a significant offset chance, but combined with modern offset Porsche wheels this may be a good thing. Also, in the 'top' position, you may have to remove the caliper from the mount in order to bleed correctly.....
