i was thinking about the rear cradle but did wonder about clearence issues with the flywheel. if using countersunk bolts ( i gues thats what u mean by flat headed hardwear?) i was concerned about the thickness of the bell housing where it would be bolted through? what are your thoughts on this?

Thank you for the compliments. The "countersunk" bolts are the recommendation of Martin (bugat5speed) these are the only bolts that will clear the ring gear. The bellhousing is very thick, and should not be an issue.
