The early 944 steel arms are vertically identical to the 03's so are interchangable.... but the CV's are of a different size diameter and thickness.
944 CV's are same diameter as type 2's but are slightly (4mm) thicker.
If your using a type 1 box you need to change the output flanges for trekker items

All alloy arms widden the track of the vehicle over standard by varying amounts depending on year.... later wider, earlier narrower
