Pair #1: was on a running engine 2 month ago. After removal, we discovered 3 little cracks at spark-plugs holes and some impacts in a combustion chamber. The welding man told me about $150-200 job to make them nice
Pair #2: was on storage for about 5 years. One impact in one combustion chamber, at cylinder contact zone. Absolutely no cracks at spark-plugs holes. One exhaust bolt with a bad repair.
