Hmmm...I'm definitely setup for mountain twisties. My setup would be too soft for AutoX, and I suspect most track days. I run stock-sized torsions and KYB gas shocks. My driving style benefits from a lot of fore-aft weight transfer though, which is how I've ended up where I'm at.

Consider the QA1 dual valve shocks as an option. You can dial in the compression and rebound separately. And you'd simply run them as a shock, no coil-over springs. I have a set of the single-valve (rebound only) that I could send you to try out before buying. BUT, they are rebound adjustable only.

I seem to think you're still in California? California Mille is San Diego to LA this year, but I could also just ship 'em after bringing them down.

i do want them back though! Testing only

Edit: Wow Dave, Modesto CA right above you. I guess that means I'm shipping them. Not hitting the bay area, unless I drive the '58 down to Cal Mille.
