heavier engines, stiffer rear suspension?

I am planning in an 8v watercooled engine, and plan to drive it hard. Anyone have any suggestions as to where to look for a decent susoension setup for such a combo? I have koni reds now, but i'm not sure how it will hold up. I guess i'll find out once the engine and tranny are back in the car, and I put the brakes on and the wheels and see how it goes...

thanx in advance :agree:

you may want to run larger torsion bars in the rear

944 rear torsion bars start at 23.5 mm and get larger from there. Your stock ones are 22mm for reference.

Hi

Move the tranny forward and as suggested go for heavier bars.

you could install real coil over shocks that have diffrent spring sizes. they are a bit pricey but give you more tuneablity
