diameter of 17" rim with 205/40's?

anyone know the diameter of a 17" rim fitted with a 205/40?

just want to do some gearbox calcs

Hi

My Falken listing says 596 mm, but this can vary with rim width and manafacturer.

17 x 25.4 = 431.8mm
205 x .40 = 82.0mm
82.0 x 2 = 164.0mm
431.8 + 164.0 = 595.8mm

Overall diameter is 595.8mm or 23.46"

Then again what Steve said was close enough :silly:
