spring plate preload

fitting on my 951 spring plates now. how much load are you guys starting the spring plate with? using the bottom of the spring plate and the bottom stop as the reference point, i am debating between the slightly above the stop that my previous setup was at (no preload) and one spline down from that making about 7-10mm below the stop. i realize they are adjustable, but want to get it as close as possible the first time.

I think my stock spring plates were -7 or -11 degrees if the chassis was at 0 degrees. Hope that helped. My car always did sit kinda lop-sided.
