TopLine front & rear disks (5x100)

These brakes are brand new from TopLine. They are front and rear disks which allow you to still have the use of the handbrake. They are made for a 1302 (I have a 1971 Super Beetle). They have been studded to VW's A4-platform pattern (5x100) used by Jettas, Golfs and New Beetles.

Because of the wheels I have selected (16x6½ et 42 with 205/55-16 tires), I see no other alternative but to either decide on wider fenders or putting these up for sale. (The would work with stock fenders if they were six inches in width.)

The price I would want would be half of what I paid, plus shipping. I will not sell the fronts and rears separately.

The quality is first rate and if I go this route, I will reorder from TopLine with a different bolt pattern.

Hey 721302...I am a new member. This is the first post I look at and what are the odds someone else from southern Indiana replies? I am from Bedford. My wife has family in Corydon, we stay there every summer. His name is Dave Wiley and hers is Linda, she works at the high school. Small world. Anyway, any bugs down there for sale? I currently have a rail and I am looking to get back into bugs and would like a project. Thanks for any help you can give, and I have a buddy up here with a VW graveyard if you need anything.

I want to thank all who expressed interest in these brakes. I am 98% sure I will be keeping and using these brakes, the wheels I want, and without extending the fenders. There is a lingering issue accounting for the other 2% but time constraints at the end of the day prevented me from finding out what it was.

I will post a thread in the appropriate forum when I know more. Right now, all I can tell you is I miss my car -- especially since she looks so much better on my visits.

Now if only the weather would improve long enough so I can at least enjoy the top down on my water-pumper.
