Super and Heavy duty tie-rods

I guess the Canadian winters are really long. All these new products have been in development over the winter, and by coincidence are all coming to fruition at the same time. Anway, I digress.

VdubCustoms has been offering Super Duty tie rods for some time. But I guess the damage ($$) was a little heavy, so there has been a price drop. Super duty tierods (60%) thicker wall than stock are now being offered for $C65/pair. Custom made to your specs (ie stock vs narrow beams etc).

Heavy duty tierods are 14% thicker than stock and are a bargain at only $C55 pair. Custom made to your specs (ie stock vs narrow beams etc).


The stock tie-rods were designed for 4" wide wheels and 165 tires. Not too many of us still run that setup, so why run the stock tie-rods?
