another new thread ... reinforced front trailing arms

make an A or a Y for a front trailing arm. has anyone done this?

oh yeah, this is for super beetles

A few people have done this, including the J tuning blue beetle that has a feature on the main site. Do a search for more info, it has been covered before

I've not done it (making an A-arm) because then I could get much problems with the yearly tests here in Holland (APK). We may not weld on "wielgeleidingselementen", and that's also the front control arms.

But at this moment i'm verry bussy with reinforcing the original trailing/control arms. For pics (of the arms at 50% finished) see this link.
