Replacing entire bug rear quarters... HOW?

'Need some help for my Brother, He's wants to replace the entire rear quarters on his (71) Bug. He has the panels already but now we're looking at just how to fit the damned things!

Has anyone out there ever replaced the full quarter? If so, how did you do it? Have you any tips on how to make it easier?

The current rear quarters are shot, all over the place and well beyond salvation.... hence the complete rear quarters.

Does anyone have any links to a site with a "how to" on it or something similar? A magazine article (US?) anything to give us a clue.
