You will have to shorten the torsion bar housing too and probably tub the rear end of the body, not a small job!

Why not go with 1", 2" or 3" fiberglass fenders. I shorten my own IRS trailing arms, it does take some work. You can shorten the trailing are 1' Per side. Fiberglass fender makes your task much easier . I wanted 10 rims so I went the fiberglass way.![]() ![]()

				Arm

Why shorten the torsion arm, or do you mean the trailing arms? If you would like to shorten the trailing arm, there is a how to on this site

You can buy shorter torsion bars, the torsion bar housing would need shortening (cut, internally sleeve and re-weld) as the spring plate starts to be a limiting factor at about 8,5J width. Buy shortened axles to match the reduction.

				How to

Hi, its here on this site. There is a member who posted how to mod your rear trailing arms. Be advised it is alot of work, I did a set before. You must jig them up for welding. You only save 1" per side and then you need to buy shorter axles. Go the easy route and buy wider fenders
