Question wats the difference ???

i saw two kinds of rear aprons on a bug
the first one is Flat the second is like FAT !!!
most of the cars that do have the second are 1303
so is it original or modified or wats the difference ???

The fat one is on a Fuel Injected car.

my 75 1303 has the bubble rear apron... it was a fuel injected car

my 1973 got this bubble rear upron and its not fueled injected but it looks better on it :agree:

i just found out today that there are no fuel injected bugs in egypt looool
they imported them and swapped the engines with the carburater

The US had two for their Supers: one for fuel injection and catalytic converter (1975-79 model years) and one for familiar pea-shooters (1971-74).

If we're talking worldwide, I believe there are more than just two rear aprons. In fact, there may be more than two "bubble" aprons.

I was investigating the notion that Supers were manufactured outside of Germany, and I thought I noticed differences in aprons. I will double-check the sources I have access to.
