this might sound like a dumb question but i need help. im supposed to be getting my engine rebuilt within the next 1-2 months and the guy who is rebuilding it (damon harmonn) uses alot of Scat parts and i was wondering should i tell him to hold off on the flywheel?is there a special flywheel to make the t4 fit a type 1 tranny?

Nothing special just a early Type IV bus flywheel, either 210mm or 215mm. If you ever go to a 901 Porsche tranny then you'll want a 914 flywheel. The one catch is you'll want the bus flywheel lightened.

FAT makes one. about $300 as i recall. do a search here and at STF for details, but you have to ream the center and press the pilot bushing in.
