PowerTuningParts should be able to get it for you.

Is the Koni steering damper adjustable? It's the same unit for both the Standard and Super, right?

Any RHD and LHD difference?

And how much did you pay for yours? Worth the money compared to a regular OE version?

Thanks!

I can't remeber if the unit is adjustable or not! I seem to remember that it is but I've lost the instructions that came with it. I do not think that there is any difference between left and right hand drive versions - it follows the same dimensions as a stock steering damper and I think they're the same.

I haven't fitted it yet so I can't comment on its performance.

Cost £75.

Hope this helps.

Sprintstar,
In answer to your question and FYI, the '75 super doesn't have a steering damper. I fitted one anyway, its a specially designed (retrofit) steering damper for the '75 and later super/convertibles. It works perfectly and even solves some vibration issues in some situations. The gas filled damper is from bilstein in my case and was sold by Gerd Weiser in Dusselforf, Germany. They have a site as well.

I thought the rack and pinion cars didn't need dampers? What can the damper do?

Anyway, I'm thinking of retrofitting a rack and pinion to my '73 '03. I've got '74 and later arms on him so it should be quite straight forward? Has anyone done this before?

Sprint.
