I finally finished some camber plates for my 1303. Later I will also machine for caster adjustment.

Those look like the real thing.
The ones I made are quite similar, but I havent tried them out yet. Now I`m planning to use stock rubbermounts with spherical bearings and make camberplates that can be used with them. I am aiming for more comfoutable ride with added camber adjusment.

Hey those are real nice, what kinda brake/ suspention setup are you running?

Im doing early 944 stuff on my 1303, but i have a nasty case of positive camber. i have not gotten all the parts i need (like ball joints) to do the swap, and im not sure if Toplines camber bolts will help.. from what i have read the topline camber bolts have an increased adjustment, so maybe i wont need camber plates...ect to fix this issue.
But just wondering... can you make more of thos camber plates? like for members on this forums if people are interested? i might be interested if i cant sort it out with other means. I still have not decided on Toplines "Max-struts" or lowered housings with lowered sport springs. it seams that in order to use those camber plates you would need a fairly low profile spring to gain any sort of cleance for the strut to move in.

Later,
Jonathan

I am also running early 944 disks with 944 spindles, 944 struts with kyb golf shocks, 12in. SAW 150lb/in coilsprings, adjustable bottom perch, camber plates with spherical bearing. I am also using kerscher ball joints and a 22mm front sway bar and and the stock rubber bushings were replaced with urethane units. Those camber plates involved alot of machine work and since I was a beginner it took me a long time to complete them. But I am very happy with the way the car handles now. The turning and the overall feel of the car have increased greatly.

Personally I think that toplines "maxx strut" is a waste of money. If you want to run smaller diameter springs use some factory crx or many other vehicles that came equipped with 80mm o.d. springs.

Here is my 3rd generation of "homemade" strut top-mounts. Teflon lined spherical bearings, 1 degree of positive caster added and 30mm height adjustment.
