Difficulties aligning front suspension

Hi,

My setup:

Original never collision 1970 Beetle
CSP front beam with 1-set castershims
German trailing arms with new balljoints
German disc brake spindles original ones
Extra-eccentric camber eccentrics

I wanted about -0.5 camber on the front wheels, but the alignment shop cant get more than about -0.3 on one wheel, and even less on the other.

So the options -

misdrilled camber eccentrics
bent torsion arms
bent spindles
too long upper suspension tube / too short lower

misfitted parts - not putting trailing arms all the way in etc.

Do anyone else have similar problems? Will give the car a go over soon, but the shop did not see anything in particular wrong other than not getting the values wanted.
