Pretty sweet !
However, I'd be worried that the helmet support on the sides will limit visibility.

Also, are they strong enough for racing ?

Rob.

I don't belive it should be a visibility problem with this seats for anyone. They are designed by momo afterall.

Thats the $550 momo seat.

Some(most) of the racing seats omologated by FIA are also fibreglass...this seats are strong enought IMHO.But for racing...I don't know if there is something strong and safe enought for racing. But they are in the tests right now

They are not for sale yet. I am just curious about your opinions and suggestions.I personally like them very much and will use them in my bug and a friends race car for now.
About a t3 air-dam: I never saw one on a t3.

keep the opinions comming!

Thanks for the interest.

I posted this reply on the STF as well, I went there first today.

I think they look very good, strength is a concern for me as well as padding/upholstery.

How wide is the bottom (inside) and how wide is the shoulder area? What is the distance from the seat bottom to the shoulder harness holes?

Yes kdanie, the strength is a concern for me to, but they are storng for now, we will see how they will hold mounted on the car.I've had sparco and momo seats and I will compare them to this seats.Basically, they can hold me with no problem(I weight over 250 lbs/ 95 Kgs).

As for padding, I am working on it, hope they will look good and be confortable, but the fiberglass is the most important. I just can't wait to finish one of them....

For sizes, they should be the same as this momo seat:

A
mm/inches =590 mm/ 23.2"

B
mm/inches=340mm/13.4

C
mm/inches=530mm/20.9

D
mm/inches=510mm/20

E
mm/inches=390mm/15.3

F
mm/inches=290mm/11.4

G
mm/inches=500mm/19.7

H
mm/inches=880/34.6

Hope this helps.
