engine restore in a can

has anyone usedthis in a vw? was wondering about messing up the oil cooler? read somewhere that doing this may possibly clog the oil cooler in an acvw. i did it once to a buick 350 in my jeep truck. it worked good enough, and better than what i thought.

any suggestions?

my engine is fine, as i know, just trying to add a lil pep back to it.

Don't use it in an ACVW. It contains a soft particulate material that will constrict flow thru the cooler, pressure relief, and pressure control valves.

Plus it will add viscosity to the oil and make it harder for the pump to keep it circulating, thus wasting HP. Thicker oil won't soak up, and dissapate heat as well, which is a vital nessesity in an ACVW.

Engine Restore is like a Band-Aid for an engine that burns oil, smokes, has alot of blow-by, or low oil pressure. It will only DECREASE the performance of a healthy engine.

I've used it in Sue's Honduh Accorn with 196,000 miles to keep the smoking, and oil consumption down. The PO of that car changed the oil about every 6k to 8k miles (contrary to what he told us) and a ring problem has developed from it.

That problem became terminal on Wednsday...no compression on #2 cylinder, with an oily spark plug.

Poor Hondacar,...God rest his soul...
