Painting my Fuchs. Help me choose...

I've got my Fuch back from the polisher and I'm ready to paint them. I didn't want them fully polished (too Cal-Look for me ), so I just had them do the lip and spoke faces. The accent color will be a GM dark metalic grey (thanks plasticfantastic :agree: ). Here are samples of the two paint styles I'm considering. A rendering of my car is on my website under "Projects". Take a look and chime in here with your input...

Polished lip w/ painted spokes and recess:

I don't understand the question. If you are inquiring about my wheel selection I have 18" X 10" and 18" X 7.5" turbo twists...

If you are going with the GM grey, I would paint the whole center like the top wheel. But if you just paid to have the whole wheel polished that might be a waste of $$.

6x16 fronts and 7x16 rears. Not sure of early vs. late. I just know they fit without spaces...

I like the anodize style, just how they came from the factory. Porsche made them so they would be protected and last. Check out the pic.

paint fuchs

Hello, I spent all my spare time during this winter polisching 8 fuchs wheels myself. 4 fully polisched for my '73 germanlook super, and the other 4 with the reces painted for my '73 callook. I also wanted them powdercoated but could not find a company in my naberhood that could do it right. So I painted them myself for now. I can allways use a paintremover lateron. If you want to see the results, I'll send you some photos.
