:help:
ok so my c/f running boards are in need of a reclearing and I have done it several times before but I am now contemplating color matching them to the car and leaving a strip of the carbon visible along the bottom. Just looking for opinions because I have seen it done before but sometimes it just depends on the car itself. And I cant find the pics of the ones I've seen before so if you have any you can post please do. My paint gun is patiently waiting! Either way they are getting sanded down and sprayed with something! lol ![]() Anyone done it recently? Here is my car currently.... and then my horible attempt at photoshopping the boards painted... ![]() ![]() thoughts?

Either black or just leave it CF look, matches the bumper and rubbers.

If I go 1302 or 1303, I will likely paint my c/f or c/f-kevlar components. HOWEVER, I agree with chug on yours. It makes that beautiful blue stand out more.

I think I'd drop the rear end an inch!
![]() ![]() I really like that blue though, maybe all blue with 1/4" tape off strips on the top that mimic the ribs on the stock running boards? Jason

Don't paint. Spray some quality UV blocking clear on them.
