Lowering a 1972 Super Beetle

Can anyone let me know what is the best way in lowering the front end of a 1972 Super Beetle. Who would sell the parts, thanks.

For lowering I would use an adjust-a-strut, However if you plan on switching to large 17x7 wheels i would go with a MAXX strut. both are available at toplineparts.com

There are several different ways to lower a Super, depending on what you want to achive and what you want to spend.

There are two "ghetto" ways, and that is to cut the strut housing or spings (not recommended).

Lowered springs (affordable).

Adjustable struts (Topline or Kerscher).

Don't forget the other ghetto way...of putting a ****load of weight in the trunk...lol. It also lessened the severity of my shimmies too, lol.
