Calling Sandeep!
Hello, I too have a 1974 standard beetle and like the look of porsche headlanps and early fenders. Since you have those on your car I wood like to know if you had to change whole the front clip (mine as to be changed anyways) and what were the modifications involved. Cheers mate!

Hi
I can help you there. All standard bug fenders are interchangable, its the supers that are different. So find a nice set of early headlight fenders and your in bussiness. Steve

When it came to buying a front clip, I saw the was a choice: either standard 68-73 or standard 62-67. The first one(68-73) seams longer and have a hole in the front appron. I'd be glad to be mistaking!!!!

Okkkkk, now I think I get it.. the fenders and total lenght of the apron is the same... it's the hood that is longer on pre-67..... So yeah, I could bolt pre 67 fenders on a pot standard front clip and it would still fit like Sandeep's ride. It would be great if Sandeep could jump in. What i want to do is like Remmele's first cars.
