Dual drla's...should I buy them?
I have a 1641cc type 1 with 1-3/8" header (empi dual euro tuck)
and dual dellorto 34 frds. I have a chance to buy some 36mm drla's for a great price. When I rebuild I will use a bigger cam, and better heads. However 1641 is fine- I do not feel the need to upsize cylinders. even though there is no replacement for displacement. My 34frd 1bbls have worn throttle shafts that leak pretty bad, and it snaps and pops nasty on deceleration. Should I buy them? I can get all parts for drlas but not for frds. they are toast. any feedback is great. thanks for replying |

Go for it, like you said, your carbs are shot amd the drla has got available spares. Plus they will run better when jetted properly

Do it! 36's are great for 1600, 1641, and 1776 with a good cam, and small header.
CB Performance still has some parts. Eurocarb can supply anything that CB cannot. Yetibone
