dry sump
what is the advantage.
possible on a type 4 will it help run my engine an cooler or would you still recommend plumming in a cooler. any other info would be great thanx carson |

http://www.germanlook.com/Forums/showthread.php?t=5680 but basically a ds oil system is more efficient, it cools better as the oil is not "stored" in the engine, it frees up hp.

what sort of cooling system you got now? upright conversion like the dtm?
if so jake says it is more than enough to cool the motor, but how big of a motor do you got? The ds system has more advanages than just cooling, like it can eliminate oil starvation if you like the corners.

Im interested in a dry sump setup maily to the really high temp during summer in greece. What dou you think of the pump from csp?
http://www.csp-shop.de/cgi-bin/shop2...kid=7330637214 The reason is that i could afford this kind of money in the next couple of months (along with tuition fees and living abroad). If its not good i'll just stick to the cb ds pump and have a friend bring it over the US
