rear sway bar?

is there a rear sway bar avaiable for a 73 irs super?

Sway-away, and whiteline make'em. Aircooled.net has the whiteline, and sway-away. You can also get the sway-away from almost any VW parts shop. Just look for '68 and later typeI IRS... the rear is the same for STD's and SB's.

The 944 rear bar is a relatively easy swap onto a VW. A little welding required.

I have one; easy to install even for a technoklutz.

Unless you use your car for nothing more than cruise night, go with the adjustable Whiteline. It's more money, but well worth it. The 3/4" bars just don't cut it.
