What do you think of that?!

Hi,

I'd like to have comments about a modification I'd like to do (dream to do) .

This mod consist of putting 2000-2002 Mercedes-Benz W211 E-CLASS
(E320 E320W E430 E55) Euro clear projector headlights. They cost a lot but I think it would be worth it. I did a before and after using Photoshop so tell me what you think of it.

There was a Giha in one of the magazines a while ago that used Benz lights, looked good but a lot of work. I think your problem will be the depth of the lights into the fenders interfearing with the tire though.

I think your right, if you look at this picture it looks as though the light not only tilts back but is also cranked off to the left slightly (obviously the right hand head light will be cranked off to the right)

There are lots of different car manufacturers going with this concept, you will have to do like I do.... when driving about keep looking at different cars to find some insperation, word of warning though.... try not to take your eyes off the road for too long

Unhappy

Hi and thanks for the comments

First of all the picture is not scaled and I did make a better version of it but I wasn't able to read after I saved it.

Also justdubbin, the picture included in your reply is from a 2003 Mercedes (or maximum late 2002), and the lights I took are from 2000-2002 E Class Mercedes Benz, you can also see them on some C class cars (CS 430 for example).

For these years the lights were not cranked off to the side. The lights I took are Factory replacement for 2000-2002 Mercedes E class that have the look of the 2003+ headlights, they are clear and have projector lights in it. There is a picture of them in this reply.

For the scale, I'll get it right next time, it just happens that my boss has a C430 AMG (V8 ) and I'm the one doing maintenance on it!!
