Ok, I know that I say it every month but I will REALLY try to get out this month! I could do the 21st or the 28th, although without a heater in the Bug, I may have to drive the "other" car
Cheers, Dave

September 21 ?
Is this the date and same location, works
for me since I plan to be in town. Still have 901/914 tranny if anyone interested in a 5 SPEED for their bug; also some spare parts from the 914 car recently parted ! May have acquired another bug by that time ! Surprise ! Allan PS. Looking for used Flywheel, Clutch and Pressure plate from 911 Porsche with 915 tranny. Needed for my V-8 914 Project car

Hello everyone. Just a note to say thanks to all who helped me with my "lowrider" exhaust last night. I got home with no problems, exhaust is now on the short list!
Thanks again, Dave PS Sandeep send me a PM with where you'd like those pix sent.

Still just a wanna be
Just an update since I didn't make it to the last meet. Haven't really touched the ghia.
It is together minus some interior Type4 in the basement still waiting for the cali conversion I am leaving for maryland tommorrow to pick up a 67 ghia for parts. It has one of Jakes trannies built for a 2056. The tranny was the only part I haven't restored or replace on the ghia. Apparently it only has about 10 000km on i t and it has the welded 3 and 4 with great gearing. It is a RAT "A". I don't really need the rest of the car but 67 has some one year only parts. Hope to be out in full force next year. Jamie |
