I finally got my narrowed IRS arms in today! Woo Hoo! Will be doing a little preliminary fitting this weekend and will post some pics. Lots of fabrication to do but finally moving forward!

I'm assuming these are similar to the ones available at aircooled.net. or not? Is it possible to move the shock mount as well as the spring plate mount? well in my case it would be a coilover mount but i'm curious. also how much did you pay if you don't mind saying. thanks.

hey panalfantastic i already posted it under narrowed irs but wan't sure if you knew. i did the measuring and for an irs car narrowed 2" per side you can move the pivot (hiem) back 9/16 and it should have the same geometry as stock. hope this helps. and also i decided to opt for stock arms as i don't think i will be narrowing the track any just the spring plates. cheers

Thanks Roo! Luckily, mine has bolt-on IRS pivots so I can set my ride height and dial in the perfect camber.

I just posted a bunch more pics on the samba under Jeff K. so you guys can see how things are shaping up...
This is my favorite,

well thats what i was getting at when you mount your hiem it should technically be moved back 9/16" from the center of the tube but i'm not totally convinced it won't work in the stock location. that thing looks killer by the way.
