Is it possible to use a T4 starter on a T1 engine without mods?

Hi, I recently replaced a T1 starter with a longer T2 starter on my manual 411. Same fit.

If it's an SR17 from an auto it will still fit and has over 10% more cranking power Same starter as a T181 and 914

Thanks Matt for the reply. Yes it works ok, I just fired it up and as you said more cranking power.
