Adjustable spring plates

Hello,
Anyone encounter any problems with the adjustable Sway-Away
spring plates upon installation?Installed mine but Diaganal arms seem to be preloaded from the irs pivot pins..Tweaked fowards a bit,but vehicle has never been hit?
