I had my back three windows tinted for a number of years. It instantly modernizes the car. As soon as i took the tint out (one of my better decisions) it instantly "aged" my car, but that was the look I wanted. It did help on hot days though

Don't do it. Keep it a fishbowl. I'm not a fan of tints.

Hi

I'm not a fan either, I had it on my 1302 and took it off. I have Toyota Corolla in the family that came with tint, we have a 100 metre long driveway that we sometimes need to reverse up or down in the dark, the tint is a real pain in this situation.

I agree it helps on hots days.

Steve

Having sat in the rear of cars that have a dark tint as standard apart from being reminded of some sinsiter reasoning and use and I certainly don't want to be associated with some pimp or gangster. Also, I find it depressing. Looking out on our normally grey days everything appears even duller and more gloomy. I don't need any extra reasons for feeling gloomy! I certainly don't want to subject my offspring in the rear to such an unrelenting dire outlook that would be cruel. On the rare sunny days we either relish in the warmth or if it gets too hot we stick on a screen but at least that still leaves us with 80% of the windows clear.
