I have been running a 2.1l DJ WBX in my 55 Bug for the 5th year now, runs great!!
The radiator is from an Alfa Romero 33 that fits in place of the spare wheel, which is the only place I’ve done body mods! I use the old water pump (pre 1985) so the engine fits without cutting the in body, the rubber coolant hoses runs thru the heater channels, and a heater from a VW Polo… Jesper
