Need some help, Please

Got some questions... specially after my little incident at the auto shop..

1) Need to know what type of strut is used in the Maxx Struts.. I think its a Rabbit, but not sure.. I went on-line and used the number on the strut and could not find any matches on the Boge site.. I would like to know so that I look at different options.. I was wondering if anyone has used a Koni insert, or KYB adj.. that is the direction would like to go since I have to buy a new insert..

2) Question two- On the Maxx struts what does everyone one use to compress the spring.. Would like to know the type and make of the spring compressor that everyone is using.. I tried auto zone and theirs won't work.. I don't have access to a wall mounted unit anymore, and that is how this all began.. I have seen a belt compressor, that probably would work great, but its like 400 bucks..

3) What does everyone use to loosen/tighten the cap that holds the strut cartige in place.. I used channel locks but it makes a mess of that soft aluminum cap.. where can I find a large enough open end wrench..

4) CAMBER PLATES.. who makes them, or who has modified some.. I have a MIG, so I can weld new studs.. I had made a post about seeing if anyone has used rabbit caster plat, modded it to fit a super beetle.. I would love to make my own, any thoughts..

5) Lastly, camber issue on involved with using the 944 spindles.. Do I widen the top hole only.. do I need to weld anything.. What do I use to widen the hole.. I read someone is using the H&R camber bolts.. will this work, when coupled to the widened hole on the Maxx Struts..

Thanks for the help..
Alex
