Are Hartman Wheels worth $1000?

Many questions: Are these wheels (Hartman 3-pc) worth almost a thosand bucks? Are they lightweight?

Wouldn't these look sweet on, say, a 1956 platinum grey GL Beetle with 996 brakes "hiding" behind them? Would they even fit? My setup

I appreciate any help.
