Porting is the only real option for a rotary. When you port the openings in the side housings you change the mechanical timing of the engine. Porting of a rotary engine is equal to changing the cams + boring and stroking a piston driven engine. It is a very precise operation. You have a 12a or a 13b, turbo or non turbo, carbureted of fuel injected.
