It's not laughable at all,
the Maclaren and the Porche GT1 sports race cars both had a weight distribution of 40/60.

It may be interesting to find the front/rear weight distrib for the Ferrari Enzo
- the fastest cornering street legal car that money can buy at the moment.
I don't know it actually, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if it's just around 40/60, just like our humble Beetle.
