Alternative Fuel Bugs?

I've been reading up on Bio-Diesel /aka...Vegetable oil.
Anyone got any ideas on how to make my beetle run off this crap?
For pete's sake...the veggie oil is freakin free! (got a chinese buffet a block from my house)
I've seen all the data on the WWII Beetle alternative fuels when the Nazi's were outa fuel and I was fascinated by VW engineers sheer resourcefulness.
Those nuts had the same little 4 cylider engine running off of things as crazy hydrogen and veggie oils ....They even had a wood burning bug! I think it converted the oils made from the burning bits??

Anyway...
