993 Turbo Front Disks

I currently have 944s2 callipers and 944disks fitted to the front of my half built beetle but when I came to fit the wheels (18") you could hardly see the brakes! So I managed to get some 993 turbo brake disks cheap on eBay (which look wicked behind the 18's ) but my s2 callipers won’t quite fit over them.

So do I have to get 993 turbo callipers or are there other Porsche models that will fit? The other alternative would be to file the small up stands that stop the calliper from sliding on but I'm not sure if it would still be tight or even safe!
