Not sure what you mean with cone-like...
Anyway, I think in general re-drilling rotors is considered dangerous, although there are people who have run them without a problem. I use custom drilled (new, not redrilled) drums and rotors (4x100), and a 1/2 inch flat spacer. Rob.
