icw wheels

I know about everyone with meatier wheels are usin spacers, but I've also been told they're hard on CV joints and using longer bolts, they'll break off easier; obviously its not too big of a problem since so many people are using them, but I just wondered what yall thought. Also, my 4 x 130 drums are new, so should I just have em re drilled or go ahead and get new 4 x100 ones. I know the prices on new drums, but not re drilling. And I won't have any trouble gettin the wheels off the non-Maxx struts, and under the 2.5" wider fender? Danke.
