Thanks Roo! Luckily, mine has bolt-on IRS pivots so I can set my ride height and dial in the perfect camber.

I just posted a bunch more pics on the samba under Jeff K. so you guys can see how things are shaping up...
This is my favorite,

well thats what i was getting at when you mount your hiem it should technically be moved back 9/16" from the center of the tube but i'm not totally convinced it won't work in the stock location. that thing looks killer by the way.

How much did they charge for those arms? Keep us posted on how it handles and whatnot.

Aircooled.net has them for $425 I think. Should be in stock, ready to ship.

Roo, the key is making sure the two pivot points line up. I made a little jig that fits into the inner pivot and lines up the heim. I hope it works like I think it will.

yeah the two pivots have to intersect. i measured the trailing arm pivot and it has a pitch of 9/32" rise per inch. so if you narrow 2 inches (2" * 9/32" = 9/16") so if find the center of the torsion tube mount the hiem 9/16" towards the rear of the car from that and they should intersect. cheers

Question

Panelfantastic, roo, did I miss something? Are you guys referring to mounting the heim joint for the trailing arms offset so that binding doesn't occur?
