I don't know if I can fit my spare and my battery up front like you did, I have a standard beetle. I might have to leave the spare at home but most likely I will leave the battery where it is.

I picked up some 2 gauge battery wire (11 feet of it) from the auto electrical store, and some gromets and ends.
I think i am going to route the 2 gauge wire from the tranny (of course), down the pass side of the tunnel, drill a hole into the bulkhead, then through the spair tire well.. then to the battery. This was the shortest route i could find, and it will look very clean coming out of the spair tire well instead of just coming over the inner fender wells. I am puting capet in so it need to no protrude in areas where the carpet is. thats why i chose to go through the bulkhead so the wire just goes along the pan/tunnel. I will get some pics once i do it. Later Jonathan
