 true very true! But I have been told it takes alot to beef up the type 1 tranny to make it as strong. not to mention the cool factor of running porsche in your bug. Also the berg 5 I have heard from a former borg warner technition is crap. For the price to bullet proof a type one tranny you could get two rebuilt porsche trannnies off of ebay, or a junk yard. Am I right?
