I'am in the middle of fitting mine and hope that I may be able to inform you of some pit falls and vice versa :-)
Did you already make the rear trans mount fit?
Please let me know. I'am a bit stuck there myself...

Thanks,

Hi wally my box is sat in the car all bolted up. i will get some photos to send you then you could copy the mounts if you like them.,the clutch seems to operate very nicely with the std cable although the engine has not yet been run so i cant say that ive tested it

That would be very nice!

You did not lengthen the clutch arm of the bug pedal assembly at all?

Thanks in advance for the pics,
Walter

No.., relocate the clutch tube from the top of the chassis to the cut out for the gearbox at the bottom of the chassis(the cut out you have made to fit your porsche box ),then using a flexible std beetle clutch tube push it over the metal relocated tube, weld on a camper flexi clutch mount on the frame fork where the end of your flexi tube is then get a 914 clutch cable clamp and mount that to your cable then fit onto the end of your cable to the clutch arm.............email me if you need more works around the workshop floor but as yet not road tested
