it's called ratings. the print is horribly structured for out-of-context impact. notice how they left out some of the key sarcasm inbetween hitting comments that you get from the video. it is no different than how Georgians make fun of Alabama and visa versa. it is always fun to poke fun.
weak example: why do you think Mercedes-Benz built their newest plant in Alabama a few years back? answer: endless supply of crash test dummies. also keep in mind that most Americans exposure to Canada was via the McKenzie Brothers and South Park. Eh? so what jokes do the Canadians have of American's? we never get to hear them.
