In a word... No. I spent a long time and huge amounts of heat just getting the old ones out and getting the new Kerscher balljoints in was only made easy by using a press.

Mine took ~8500Kgforce to press in. That's about 19,000 pounds
I've found these 17mm ball joints elsewhere I can only recommend the Kerscher 17mm B/J's tho' Matt

Thanks for the replies. Took my Kerscher ball joints to my mates workshop and it took over 4 tons of pressure to press in.
Had no problems with removing the old ball joints, just wacked with a hammer and the flew out. They looked new but could not have been fitted correctly in the first place. Any way sorted now, thanks once more. Cheers VEEMAN |
