Glad to see you got the trans from Samba. That is the one I ask Jake about for my Ghia. Like I said earlier, he told me about the 'one off' bearings used for this trans and that is why I decided not to pursue this one.

Glad to see that your trans specialist said it was ok.

BTW, I am going with the Rancho Trans with the gear ratios and Quaife. !!! Expensive, but not as much as when you mention the 'P' word!!!

Was the "one off" bearing Jake mentioned the throwout?
I noticed that the 923 has it's own throwout, unfortunately.
$245 list price....
