Had a day off today, this meant I was still working only not at the office >
![]() Between telephone calls I did some work on the oval. cut the pillar along the line and left the inner plate. ![]() ![]() I had to cut out some more rust. ![]() a little test fit, when it all fits I can weld on a piece of flat with the inner plate underneed. ![]() some more test fitting. ![]() And where getting close. ![]() The innerwings are different to the original oval wings, but i have to cut out the most to make room for the 914/911 front suspension..

Some jobs take more time than expected, these innerwings are that kind of a job.
The holes from drilling the spotweld had to be welded, they did not match with the new location. In the past someone mounted an emergency switch, this had to be closed as well. After welding the holes, I smoothed them and I cleaned the area that can't be reached later on. ![]() And before you know it....time's up.

didn't want to do bodywork today, so I did some work on the chassis.
I was not satisfied with the place where the fuellines came out the chassistube. again a hole was made :P It does not show on the pictures, but the hydraulic clutchline is now near the fuellines. ![]() ![]() Paul.
